🎣 Bass Fishing
Bass are active and feeding mostly on shad. Main-lake points are holding good numbers of bass, and brush piles will become key spots as the month progresses. Using a jig, jerkbait, and jig-head minnow works well. On overcast days, jerkbaits and jig-head minnows excel, while sunny days favor jigs in brush areas. There’s also a solid topwater bite early in the day.

🐟 Striped & Hybrid Bass
The summer pattern is underway for striped and hybrid bass. Live bait like shiners is most effective, especially around main-lake points and humps near creek mouths at the south end of the lake.
