The water temperature in Lake Allatoona is currently in the mid-70s, and bass fishing has been consistent. Spotted Bass are actively feeding in deeper waters, especially near submerged brush piles and rocky points. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to target them with drop shots or crankbaits. Striped Bass are schooling in the main lake channels, with topwater lures and live bait being effective. White Bass are scattered but can be found near creek mouths and in the shallows during cooler parts of the day. Look for schooling activity near the surface. Largemouth Bass are hanging around docks and submerged timber, responding well to soft plastics and jigs.
